Catholic Bishops Appalled at WASSCE candidates
The Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference (GCBC) has bemoaned students’ reliance on leaked examination questions.
In a press release on Friday, August 07, 2020 the GCBC expressed disappointments in the disdainful acts of some final year students writing the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in some Senior High Schools in the country.
The disdainful act which has been described as disheartening saw videos of some students going to the extent of insulting the president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo shared on social media
The GCBC has also called on the appropriate bodies and major stakeholders to ensure the perpetrators are brought to book as a deterrent to future occurrences and encouraged all “students writing the on WASSCE to remain calm … concentrate on their studies instead of looking for leaked examination questions.
