Victoria Mama Dzewu III, the Head mistress of St. Thomas basic and Junior High School, Abeka and the Queen Mother from Kpando Agbenoxoe for several years advocated for support in cash and kind to the vulnerable, the poor and the needy, the aged, and the marginalized in our society.
“As a mother I feel the need to cater for the needy, the sick and the rejected especially during festive seasons” the queen mother who is also an active parishioner of St. Charles Lwanga Catholic Church proclaimed. She said this during a handing over of clothes and provisions to be given out to the needy in Afram Plains a suburb of Donkorkrom Vicariate.
Mama Dzewu III, who is also a devotee to Mother Mary, said the gesture is to fulfill a task in Matthew 25 following, that “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
She urged all to respond to the call of God, have pity on the marginalized by sharing their gifts and memorable moments with them so as to put smiles on their faces before, during and after Christmas.
Bro Stephen Domelevo SVD while receiving the item expressed gratitude for the kind gesture. He also called on all to emulate the footsteps of Victoria Mama Dzewu III this festive season.
