Mrs. Peggy Dzodzomenyo, a staunch Catholic and a banker at the Bank of Ghana admonished Catholics to be bold and defend their faith as Catholics at all cause for the Catholic faith is solid. “It pays to speak the truth all the time” she said this at the 2nd edition of Advent Lecture Series dubbed: “Faith in the Public life” organized by the Arrupe Jesuit Institute .The program held at Christ the King Parish, Cantonments had Mrs. Peggy Dzodzomenyo as the guest speaker.
Mrs. Peggy Dzodzomenyo edified the audience with a presentation she conveyed with grace and charm which was about her experience in the Bank and as a Catholic. She focused on the Catholic faith, Service to people, Prayer, Honesty and Compassion.
According to Mrs. Dzodzomenyo, She shared divine mercy chaplet which she found very powerful to Catholics and non-Catholics and teaching them how to recite it. She urged all to do same to one another because prayer works and just a statement can do miracles. She also advised Christians especially Catholics not to stop praying.
In her speech, She stated that “when you are a person of faith treat everybody with passion”. Sometimes in situations there is a need to be compassionate with one another. Again, she said “before one can be helpful to others, he/she must follow the Catholic doctrine and read the scripture at all times”.
She further said, in serving everybody you are serving Christ so service to one another must go with respect. She added that supervisors, leaders and seniors in any institution must allow everybody to perform their talents fairly and dispassionately.
Finally, she urged those with the ability to influence others to do it positively.
