In the spirit of Mission Outreach before its launch in October 1,2019, Archbishop John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp as part of a 3-Day visit to St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, Battor and its environs made a visit to some outstations.
The Archbishop together with his entourage transported on a canoe to their Kledeke Catholic Community and to Good Shepherd Catholic Church Community, Ngorlekpoe and ended at Holy Spirit Cathedral, Vome Catholic Community.
A midst drumming and dancing the entire communities were full with joy as they welcome the Chief Shepherd of the Catholic Archdiocese of Accra since this seemed to be the 2nd time of a very long pastoral visit.
The reason behind the visit was to familiarize with the people, get firsthand information from the native about their way of life, their challenges and the way forward.
In a message Archbishop John Bonaventure Kwofie Cssp entreated the lay faithful of the various Catholic Communities to worship God with true hearts.
For the young ones, he encouraged them to take their studies serious so that they can become great people for the nation and the church.
